The Pettis County Ambulance District spent about 20 hours in 2014 at “zero status” meaning an ambulance was not available, the PCAD Board of Directors learned Tuesday.
During the district’s regular meeting, PCAD Administrator Mike Gardner told the board zero status is common among ambulance districts and, “even with 10 ambulances you would always have some time when you were down.”
